Advanced University Degree (Master’s or equivalent)

preferably in law, political science or international relations, a combination of relevant academic qualifications and two years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree

At least seven years of experience in human rights or closely related field, particularly in the area of gender integration, women’s human rights and/or sexual and gender-based violence, knowledge of international human rights norms and human rights norms and humanitarian law is required, knowledge of international criminal law is desirable, experience in undertaking human rights/fact-finding missions with a focus on sexual and gender-based violence is required, familiarity with the UN Peace-missions contexts highly desirable

Fluency in English and French are required
