Selection Criteria

Work experience in UN agencies, major international organizations would be considered an asset

Extent and relevance of experience in developing and implementing knowledge management strategies and communication programs in the web

Extent and relevance of experience in curating library exhibitions, as well as the production of content for different library materials (books, brochures, articles, posters)

Extent and relevance of experience with metadata input, current metadata standards and AACR, LC, UDC, MARC21 and AGROVOC terms.

Extent and relevance of experience in developing strategies in long-term preservation of digital records, in designing and supporting an Electronic Document Management System and in retention management.

Knowledge of Chinese, Arabic or Russian is highly desirable

Familiarity with KOHA, AGROVOC, UDC, WoS, EndNote, Adobe Pro and InDesign is desirable

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and at least one RIM software such as SharePoint, Alfresco, FileNet, Documentum or OpenText.
