Other Responsibilities Will/May Be Assigned
Education: University degree in relevant discipline (National Security Studies, Risk Management, Police Science or Criminal Justice) at a Bachelor’s level with 6 years professional management experience or at the Master’s level with 3 years‘ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in security program management preferred;
Knowledge and experience in security program delivery and project implementation in the context of conflict and post conflict environs preferred;
Experienced with security policy development and implementation;
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, namely, Excel, Word and Power-point;
Fluent (reading, writing, speaking) in English. Knowledge of other languages a plus.
Note: The selected candidate will be offered a one-year appointment, renewable for an additional one year, at the discretion of the World Bank Group, and subject to a lifetime maximum ET Appointment of two years. If an ET appointment ends before a full year, it is considered as a full year toward the lifetime maximum. Former and current ET staff who have completed all or any portion of their second-year ET appointment are not eligible for future ET appointments.
