The income from Private Sector Fundraising in the region is growing fast. In addition to this, UNICEF offices in the region have identified significant potential for further growth up to 2021. Unlocking the full potential of the F2F channel is key to realizing growth of Individuals fundraising.

In addition, in 2020, markets will continue to receive significant sums of investment in F2F channels. There is a need to ensure the success of these investment programmes through advice on filling resource gaps, ensuring best practices and managing risks by diversifying the acquisition among multiple providers and sub-channels within each market.

How can you make a difference?

The consultant will be the focal point for the development of UNICEF’s Face to Face (F2F) pledge (regular giving) donor recruitment programs in the 4 Country Offices (COs) and two National Committees (NCs) in Eastern Europe, and thereby drive the growth of pledge income.

The purpose of the role is to provide technical fundraising expertise and guidance on managing F2F donor recruitment activities and techniques to maximize their income through more efficient processes to CO and NC fundraising teams. The consultant must contribute expertise and add value to the many F2F campaigns in donor acquisition through street, door to door, event and workplace-based recruitment of regular givers. Lastly, s/he will provide advice for maximizing donor quality, fulfilment, retention, and ask strategy value maximization.

The consultant will work closely with the Global Fundraising Specialist for F2F in Geneva, and UNICEF fundraising teams in each country to develop their fundraising activity in this area. The role of the incumbent will primarily be to fill resource gaps where necessary, and to gather and share best in class learnings in relation to the F2F channel.
