Background
This vacancy is open both for citizens of the Republic of Serbia and for candidates with another nationality.
The restrictions that have disrupted many of the usual living and working routines due to the global Covid-19 pandemic have also brought about increased levels of stress and anxiety among working people, as well as heavily disturbed work-life balance. Consequences of the disruption on people’s mental health, resilience and the ability to manage stress are bound to be long lasting.
Therefore, the OSCE Mission to Serbia is looking for a Mental Health Consultant, to support personnel in re-establishing their wellbeing, resilience and ability to manage stress, both in the course of the pandemic and in its immediate aftermath.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the OSCE Human Resources Section, the consultant(s) will be responsible for:
Delivering an introductory presentation (of approx. 2 hours) to all Mission personnel on "Mental Health Matters" comprising such elements as:What is mental health; Factors which affect mental health; Stigma; Stress and stress management; Spotting signs of distress; Mental health conditions (Depression; Anxiety disorders; Psychosis; Eating disorders; Suicide; Self-harm); Recovery; Supporting mental health in the workplace; Useful statistics; Helpful resources; Providing individual mental health/therapeutic support to individual members of the Mission as the Mission’s "on-call" mental health adviser in 2021. Such sessions are to be done in a totally confidential and safe surrounding, including over the phone or on an online platform (no recording is allowed), in the duration of up to 60 minutes (maximum 5 sessions per employee); If needed and if agreed, delivering 3-hour workshops on such topics as:Stress management; Employee wellbeing and resilience; Work-life balance and mental health:Leading and managing remotely.Performing other assignments as agreed.
Necessary Qualifications
Advanced university degree (MA/MSc, MPhil or PhD) in Clinical Psychology or a degree of Doctor of Medicine with specialization in Psychiatry.
Minimum 10 years of professional work experience in providing psychotherapy and occupational health support to groups and individuals.
Membership of the relevant national professional body and licence to practice psychotherapy or medicine;
For applicants who are citizens of the Republic of Serbia: professional fluency in Serbian language, both oral and written, and very good knowledge of English language;
For applicants with another citizenship: professional fluency in English, both oral and written;
Computer literate with practical experience in Microsoft packages;
Ability and willingness to work with people of different cultural, national and religious background;
Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, as well as the ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities.

Remuneration Package
The consultant(s) will be employed on a Special Service Agreement for the duration of 2021, subject to satisfactory performance, and will be paid for the actual services provided, commensurate to individual qualifications and experience. The proposed fees are as follows:
delivering the introductory presentation and any subsequent workshops: up to RSD 30,000 or EUR 250 per workshop;
individual mental health/therapy sessions: up to RSD 4,000 or EUR 30.
