Data and Reporting Control Off icer

The Data and Reporting Control Officer will be responsible for performing various tasks in support of the management of the Office of the Controller’s functions. These tasks will primarily relate to maintenance of data integrity, data analysis and reporting of expenses and claims.

Responsibilities:

Perform data warehousing and maintenance principally in SAP finance module and other prevailing systems; ensure data integrity and conduct periodic analysis of expense claims to identify issues including unusual activities, spends/amounts, purpose, etc.

Use the analyzed data to identify irregularities and potential fraudulent activities in compliance with AIIB’s policies and procedures.

Prepare periodic reports to present analysis results in a clear and concise manner (including report designs).

Provide and execute remediation actions to issues to be identified.

Support the improvement of the expense claim process to ensure proper internal control.

Requirements:

Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience with a multilateral development bank and/or a large-scale financial institution.

Proficient in data warehousing and maintenance, report design and analysis and interpretation of data, particularly in the field of staff and corporate expenses.

Solid understanding of internal control over expense claim process.

Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.

Fluent in oral and written English.

Team player with strong communication skills.

Master’s degree or equivalent in accounting and/or finance; a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant designation from a reputable and internationally recognized institution would be an advantage.

Previous experience and qualifications will dictate the employee level at which an applicant will enter AIIB.
